Mi Problema
My battery had malfunctioned to the point that it was expanding within the case and was beginning to separate the display from the body of the phone. In addition, the home button had stopped working.
Mi Solución
Disassembly was a piece of cake. However, the reassembly was a bit more challenging. This was mainly due to the very small screws that had to be reinstalled. Especially difficult was the one 1.6mm screw that was non-magnetic, so was difficult to pick up with the screwdriver. Nonetheless, the repair went off without a hitch. To my surprise, the home button also worked once the battery was replaced.
Mi Consejo
Some type of magnification would be very helpful. Most desirable would be a set of jewelers magnifiers on a visor, just to help with the small parts. Also, the video instructions are not consistent with the written instructions. I'd suggest using both. Some of the info in the video is more useful and vice versa.
