Mi Problema

Display was damaged—half of it would not respond to touch nor display any image.

Mi Solución

Slow at first, but good. The instructions are very well done.

Mi Consejo

I read several posts of those that claimed to have done this in 15-20 minutes. I probably could have too, but being a first-time repair on an iPhone I wanted to take my time. I used some empty medicine bottles to hold and separate the screws from each other while I was working. At first I thought the included screwdriver was not the right size until I realized I needed to apply a bit of pressure to while removing the screws. Once I got the hang of that it went quicker; I'm just not used to working with screws that small. If I was going to be doing this more I would invest in a magnetic pad to secure the screws while I'm working. I always enjoyed doing electronics work but for me it's been several years. If you do the repair yourself just make sure you've got adequate room for your work area and plenty of light.
