YLOD, Ps3 stopped working after 5 years

The repair was fun. Taking the system apart was for sure

a job. Just have to really be careful handling the internal parts.

The instructional video on Ifixit was very helpful. Followed the manual down to a T. Got the system working long enough to get my disc out. Then right back to YLOD.

the one item i did not do, was adding reflow, which is not in the manual.
