Old battery wouldn't hold a charge.

The part order process and how-to provided is great. Getting the device open wasn't as easy as it looks in the video. I ended up using other tools. Ultimately the new battery worked but it wouldn't charge. The iPod is dead again. So, either it's an aging replacement battery or somehow a problem with the charging connection on the iPod.
