Swollen Battery

Just received this S6 and it had separated the glass on both sides.

After getting the rear glass off it was very simple to remove the back plate though with the battery swollen up so bad I was nervous having to apply pressure to release it but it came off fairly easy. Now still need to replace the battery but will pick that up and go from there on my troubleshooting. Hopefully the device is still functionable. Would be epic to have a 300 dollar phone for about 10 bucks worth the replacement cost.

Mi Consejo

If careful you can do the entire replacement with a jewelers sized flat head screw driver. You do not need to apply too much pressure to release the battery it has two strips of adhesive holding it down.
