New battery for MacBook model A1278 (late 2008)

Mi Problema

Old battery (original) had gotten swollen (interfered with trackpad) and it didn't hold a charge.

Mi Solución

I opened the back (push on the simple lever/tab, pull off the panel) and inserted the new battery. I replaced the panel and it was done. Easy!

Battery was partly charged. I let it charge fully overnight without using the laptop.

I've been using the laptop daily for a few days and everything seems to working just fine.

Just make sure the battery type matches your laptop model.
