Yellow Light of Death
We used our PS3 a lot. We use it as our DVD/Blu Ray for our main TV as well as for gaming. My 2 yr old always grabs the PS3 remote and pushes buttons. This turns the system on without us realizing it's on until hours later. It finally overheated and gave out.
Mi Solución
The PS3 in the video is one of the earlier models and didn't match the one I have. No big deal, I just You Tubed the disassemble instructions for my model. Once it was apart the repair was easy. Put it back together and it fire right up. Now I hide the PS3 remote from the 2yr old.
Mi Consejo
Have Patience and take your time. When pulling the Motherboard apart from metal housing don't force it. It's delicate and can break easy if forced.
