Dead Battery and Hard drive

Mi Problema

The system was still like new so it would be a shame to recycle it.

I installed a new SSD 128GB and the new battery and it runs like a champ. I bench marked it net to a MacBook Pro and it was fatser in all areas.

Mi Solución

The repair took about 20 minutes and it was very simple. The only reason it took 20 minutes was because I had never taken one of these apart and I wanted to look around.

Mi Consejo

Make a screw guide as you are working or pull one down from the web. Many different sized screws that can make reassembly a bit tricky.
