Mi Problema

My Clicker was stuck in the Click(down) Position.

I printed out the basic instructions & also down loaded them onto my back up Notebook,I figured that if I needed to I could use this to enlarge the Pictures. I ordered the replacement piece from ifixit & while waiting for the replacement to arrive I reviewed the Instructions & lined up all of the tools that I thought I might need, this also meant making a couple of things. I made an Anti-static wrist band. Then I made a Spudger out of wood. I was very happy with how quickly the part was delivered. I then waited for a day that I felt up to the task & took my time with every step. A few of the small screws were a bit tough to get out & I almost had to drill one out but it finally broke loose which was good. After going slowly & taking my time while following all of the directions from your guide( the Pictures really helped a lot)I was able to complete the repair in a couple of hours not counting all of the breaks that I had to take because of my health. I was very happy with the whole Job.

I have learned from both performing this Repair & also from seeing how these pieces are put together that I would be able to do a lot of my own repairs. I do however think I was lucky in the fact that my problem was easy for me to diagnose. I may not be able to trouble shoot the next one quite so easily. Although I will not be afraid to open another Notebook up if necessary.
