Jammed CD

Mi Problema

My MacBook ate a CD and wouldn't spit it out. After all button-pushing and restarting, the CD drive wasn't even recognized. Rather than take it to the Apple Store for repair, I decided to go the Ifixit route and bought a Pro Tech Base Toolkit.

Mi Solución

Simple as pie! Now recognizing that the Optical Drive is lunched, do I buy a new one and try it, or is there other diagnosis to tell me what's wrong with it.
