Mi Problema
I was on a flight, and of course my MacBook pro was with me. I had in in my bag, the flight was packed, and somebody forcefully stuffed his bag on top of mine. After the flight I took it out and the LCD had cracked, of course the guy had left already. So I was left alone in misery!

In your guides this repair is rated 'very difficult' but I gave it a shot anyway. Loads of screws to unscrew ( be sure to have the right tools handy....) and the most difficult part actually was to remove the cover glass from the body. But after that it was pretty straight forward. And the best thing was I chose the matte LCD display. As this was actually one of the things that annoyed me anyway, all that glare on the display, I could even get some benefit out of this story

As I already mentioned, the cover glass was a hassle. My adhesive strips seemed to take their job really seriously! And be careful with those connectors with the cables. Just read the instructions step by step, these guides are great!
