My phone would shut off at about 40%, and half the time I would have to have it tethered to a power outlet, it was getting so frustrating that at times I wanted to throw it into a wall!!! So I saw a replacement battery online from ifixit, and the price was cheap enough to give it a try. Shipping was fast and excellent!!

The repair went well, simple, just as explained, it brought new life to my 3gs, enough that I can wait for a iPhone 5, or maybe 6!!! I recomend everyone to give it a try!!! The cost outweighs the new phone

Get the suction cup.
When installing the board after the battery install, make sure the board fits in well, and makes contact with the back housing, a little wiggling will prevent you from cranking the mounting screws down and possibly cracking the board
