Only half of my MacBook Airs trackpad would click, and I am not a tap to click sort of person
Mi Solución
The repair took about 10 minutes. After getting the pentalobe screwdriver, I removed the bottom case and the battery shield. I determined that the dust had to be under the piece of metal that holds the trackpad in place. Using a bent paper clip, I was able to clear out the offending object.
Mi Consejo
Be careful when clearing out the dust. You don't want to scratch the bottom of the multitouch surface. In addition, keep a careful watch on the MBA screws. They are very tiny and easily lost.
