Complete reconditioning of a friends iphone 5s.
So my friends 5s was looking tired & the screen was very temperamental. Some times it would work & other times it was very close to becoming a "Wall Ornament". With the help of the "Liberation" kit & the "Tear Down" from the "ifixit" guys, the 5s is now as good (if not better) as new.
Mi Solución
I am fairly "tech savvy" so it wasn't too much of a problem. But the "tear down" in front of me went a lot quicker due to the guide from the "ifixit" team.
Mi Consejo
The only advice i would give out is to treat the connecting cables on any replacement display you are installing with care. Otherwise you will have the situation where your replacement display will need replacing before you have finished the repair :-/
