Mi Problema
My first gen nexus 7 tablet was getting kind of slow to charge and all of a sudden it stopped charging at all. I figured it was the charging assembly because it wouldn't recognize the cable when plugged in to the wall. I also was having trouble with the auxiliary input, so it was a win win repair.
Mi Solución
Simply remove the back cover, unscrew the assembly and the carefully remove the wire plug, remove charging assembly, put new one in and put everything back together.
Mi Consejo
Use the right tools. You need some really small Philips screw driver for some tiny screws.
