13,000 photos saved!

Mi Problema

I woke up one morning to find a dead iMac (2008 20" 2.66 ghz), and then noticed the house power had gone out during the night. I like the iMac, and it synchs with my iPhone, so I decided to repair it. Also, it had 13,000 family photos going back to 2003.

Mi Solución

The repair went smoothly, even with help from two cats. The repair guides were spot-on, and the replacement part was new, well packed, and arrived on time.

Mi Consejo

I had backup copies of the photos, and everything else, on a hard drive using Time machine! Yeah! I never before had the luxury of a leisurely repair, knowing I had followed the boring advice to BACK UP BEFORE THE DISASTER.
