I put a mini sdcard in the wrong slot on my XOOM. I didn't have the proper tools to take it apart.

Great! I slid the back of the XOOM off and retrieved it with the spunger.
Mi Consejo
Proper tools make all the difference. Don't use regular tools or you risk stripping the tiny screws.
