Successful Battery Replacement

Mi Problema

My 4s iPhone battery was 2 years old; the inconvenience of recharging it had finally reached that point where it seemed to be as annoying to others as it was to me. It needed to be replaced.

Mi Solución

I thought I prepared well, watching different videos of the steps needed to replace the battery, and making sure I had everything needed before diving in. Still, I ran into a minor problem with the battery glue, but was able to recover and finish the task. The battery is awesome; it holds it's charge as though my phone were brand new.

Mi Consejo

For me, working a well lit, uncluttered and level space was critical. The handling of such tiny parts necessitated trays and/or bowls to stay organized. The Kit tools were great, but I found other tools necessary, like tweezers and and exacto knife. In the case of the prior, my stubby man hands were a hindrance when it came to those tiny screws. The exacto worked to removed adhesive glue that had balled up after removing the old battery.
