Computer working after sitting for a year

A friend contacted me after their computer sat for a year. They asked if I would look at it for them and get it working again. I found a dead HD in the machine and ordered a new one. They went from 250 GB to 2 TB on their machine.

Mi Solución

The repair was pretty easy. The hardest part was getting all of the EMI tape to lift off the screen.

Mi Consejo

Be careful when taking the EMI tape off. If it has been on for a long time it will tear.
