20 - 30 minutos
Apple failed to release the iPhone 5 so we needed to extend the life of our iPhone 3gs's for another year till its release. Unfortunately, the batteries were done. Mine could last a day as long as I shut down the Bluetooth and 3g but my wife’s would last about half a day before needing to be charged. The batteries would need to be changed.
The battery swap was easily done on my 32GB 3gs and took about 50 minutes. I changed the one in my wife’s 16GB 3gs in about 35 minutes thanks to changing mine first.
Pay close attention when putting it back together so you don’t get any cables stuck under the motherboard when reinstalling. Also, on page 5, step 15 this step comes second when reassembling. Pay very close attention to the sim card alignment when installing the motherboard like this step says. I would try to install the sim card holder as I was installing in order to see if I had the board in correctly.
