Over heating MacBook fixed with ifixit guides and products

Mi Problema

MacBook over heating and causing computer to malfunction.

Mi Solución

After disassemble, which worked great with the guide, I discovered the fan ports were almost completely covered with dust. Not unexpected. I went ahead and redid the heat sink using the Thermal Paste and that went well. Runs fine now. Fan very seldom comes on now and when it does it is for very short times.

Mi Consejo

I am glad I followed these steps and didn't just blow out the dust from the back as I would have just put the dust back into the computer. Next time I would take it down to removing the fans and then blow out the dust and catch it with a vacuum at the same time.
