My 40 GB PS3 YLOD FIXED!!!! Thanks to the iFixit YLOD Fix Kit

Mi Problema

I was playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 when my PS3 froze then turned of with the YLOD. I did my research and watched a lot of videos on how to fix it and found the iFixit YLOD repair kit video on YouTube and decided that it was a great price to try and bring back my poor PS3.

Mi Solución

The repair went smoothly although the repair guide was for an 80GB model and mine was a 40GB and was totally different so I had to figure out how to disassemble myself. After I figured that all out though it went very smooth and took me going slow and carefully about 2 hours. It was totally worth it though because it brought my PS3 back to life. The kit included great tools and high quality materials and I thought that was awesome. THANK YOU iFixit.com!!!! :)

The only advise I'd give is GO SLOW and take your time its not worth rushing if you break something!! Also research research research if you know what your doing before you do it then your fix will go great for you.
