Still love my little iBook

Mi Problema

My trusty little iBook G4 was no longer charging up and since I had just bought a new battery and new power cord, I knew it must be the DC in-board. Well, I called it the little hole where you plug in the cord.

Repairing it was surprisingly quick and relatively simple. The step-by-step guide and photos made it a lot less intimidating, and within about 30 min I had the laptop put back together and charging up like nothing had happened. I am very pleased with my purchase and can't recommend this site enough!

Mi Consejo

I'm not sure how necessary the spudger was- I think a flathead could do the same job, but at $3 I don't even really care. Just remember to try and keep all the little screws somewhat organized when you're taking it apart so reassembling it won't be a guessing game.
