Brought an old IPOD back to life

An IPOD is too expensive to be a paper weight so instead if trowing it out because it wouldn't hold a charge I replaced the battery. I am glad I found this site and have shared it with friends.

With the help of the online guide installation went smooth. I recommend ifixit to anyone who wants to save money and repair something instead of chunking something that is otherwise good.

You hear everyone talking about being Green and yet in our country we view everything as disposable. I'm old school and miss the repair shops of the past. If it's broken fix it, feels much better than hugging a tree.
