Mi Problema

The second hard drive for my MacMini Server crashed. Hopefully the OS was on the first HD so the Mac was still booting fine.

Mi SoluciĆ³n

It was a bit challenging with a process with this many steps but every step was quite easy to do.

The hardest part was fitting the first HD in place. Like said in the guide, you can't feel if it's in or not and you only know it's not in the right place when trying to put the mobo back in place. I had to try three times before it worked.

I found that aligning the screw holes of the antenna shield with the ones on the HD was the easiest way to be sure that the HD was in the right place.

Mi Consejo

The two hard drives was installed in the factory by Apple, this wasn't the ifixit kit. The screws holding the 2nd HD was torx 8 (not torx 6 like in the ifixit kit) and they were really screwed in not snugged fitted like in the ifixit kit.
