Mi Problema
Battery life on my iPhone 5 was starting to become a noticeable problem. I checked iBackupBot to see the number of charge cycles and noticed the cycle count was 362 and my full charge capacity was 1281 mAh. Figured it was time to swap out the battery.
Mi Solución
Quick and painless - I used an iSclack to open the iPhone instead of the included suction cup. Took about 5mins from start to finish. The replacement battery from iFixit had a 90% charge already so I was ready to go!
Mi Consejo
Picked up an iSclack on eBay and it was definitely worth the cost. Took all the guesswork out of opening the phone. I did not remove the screen as suggested by the guide. I simply held the top of the screen open while pulling on the clear tab to remove the existing battery.
