Where to find replacement parts for Nexus 7

We have a few used nexus 7 parts in the shop if you are still looking.

The hard to find part is the micro usb charging port on the nexus 7. It is notorious for becoming useless b/c cords fit loosely in the port right out of the box. Micro usb cords get wiggled and jiggled because of the size of the opening and then the port will no longer charge b/c solder breaks from the board, or the tongue inside the port partially breaks apart.

You can buy the replacement micro usb / headphone jack assembly for about $40-60 and do the repair yourself (hopefully) ...or you can send it to us and we'll replace just the jack and ship it back to you all for $54.95

Screens; including LCD and Digitizer, are replaced and shipped back for $99.95

its not gorilla glass, its corning scratch-resistant glass. kept cost down, but also why so many cracked screens from people tossing this in their backpacks and pockets without proper cases.

All I have to say is that for a "screen" you would need the whole digitizer, which is around $115. It would be better to buy a new 8gb Nexus 7 and take the digitizer from it...hope this helps.

Doesn't come with the bezel fitted so you have to use very thin/strong double sided tape to stick it to the old bezel.

Not cheap but I haven't found anywhere that is better. They're new parts, I bought a couple from them and they warned me about an unavoidable delay in shipping, asked me if I'd prefer to wait or get a refund, and when they were arrived they were well packed and worked nicely.

I have Back covers, and other replacement parts for the Nexus 7 on my Ebay page. I think I only have Two backs right now, but I always have one or two on hand. Sell one, and its replaced by one. I too am looking to replace my Nexus 7 battery but not one site selling them tells you if it is a 1st or 2nd generation Nexus battery!!!! The battery size for the 2nd is much bigger and i wont take the risk of buying unless i can find a site that states which one it is. Can anyone help?

i also have the same problem.

my screen has a crack but on the bottom left and the crack stretches to just over the touch capcitive buttons.

the screen is responsive but becomes unresponsive for 1-2 minuter every 5 minutes or so.

so which parts should i bur and replace?

Digitizer?

LCD Panel?

Glass Screen?

i sent it to asus and they repaired it for free in netherlands

happened again , you have to separate the bezel and glass it needs heat

can be a pain but works if you have tools and take your time, watch you tube vids

It's sucks, mine nexus 7 2013 32Gb has a bootloader issue, and I need to replace hole motherboard. Don't know if I can turn it into service, i live in Ukraine

if you are having problems with boot loader or if your Nexus boot looping I'm pretty sure but I could fix that for you remotely if not or if you don't feel comfortable with me doing that I have motherboards for those. Either way let me know. this is what I do for business but I'm always happy to help too assuming I have enough time for it

Mine Nexus7 2013 32Gb simple doesn't react to any key. I can't get it into fastboot mode, I was looking around and found out that motherboard needs to be replace. How much would it cost to get it fixed? or how can you fix it remotely, what do u suggest?

Hi. My charging port(Nexus 7 2012) is not working and the service centre won't let me backup my data. So I plan to fix it myself. I am looking for the part and a guide to fix it. I'm in Bangalore, India.

I managed to charge it temporarily by connect +5 to 1 pogo and GND to 4 pogo pin

What's the difference in screen assembly between the wifi version and LTE? Looking at the parts it says only compatiable with the wifi version, and i cant find any LTE screens?
