Is trackpad from a1369 2010 air interchangable with 2011?

Hi, i have a faulty trackpad in 2011 13" macbook air a1369 and a friend told me the trackpad from a 2010 13" will work with 2011 but the part #s are different. does anybody have first hand experience with this and knows for sure?
