Electric brakes buzz when plugged into vehicle
Electric brakes buzz when plugged in, foot off brake pedal, buzzes when plugged in, what to do to fix it or is this normal ?

There should be 12V on pin 5 of the vehicle's trailer socket only when the brake pedal is depressed.
With the trailer cable plug disconnected from the vehicle, use a test lamp or a voltmeter to make sure that this is correct.
If there's 12V on the pin when the brake pedal is not depressed it could be a problem with the brake controller (have you tried disconnecting it to see if the buzzing stopped or if the 12V disappeared?) or there may be a short circuit between the wire on the pin and another wire either in the socket or the wiring harness.
If all is OK i.e. 12V only when brake pedal is depressed then it could be a faulty or missing earth connection between the trailer and the vehicle or on the trailer itself.
