HP g62143cl Netbook needs the screen to be replaced because it is cracked. The screen is not visibly cracked. When it is turned on, the crack becomes visible (internally cracked). Called HP and they said it needs a screen replacement. If I purchase my own screen how do I install it?

My screen is not physically cracked on the outside. There is no visible crack. However, when I turn it on, the image itself is cracked. Would I still go about replacing the whole screen or is it something else?
Yes Teryn H, you are definitely describing a cracked screen. You will have to replace the whole LCD....

I am using HP G62 after 3 years of use my screen become completely white without any prior issue.
