Touch screen not working

I replaced the home button, but now the screen does not read any input. I can't push buttons or swipe. Nothing registers!!

I took it all back apart and cleaned all the contacts and made sure everything was connected.

Help!!!

If you checked the contacts, it sounds like you may have ruined the screen or the connecting pins on the screen or logic board
