The HP SureStart BIOSes have no backdoor password - you need a tool like HPUnlocker which works on yours. Gen7 and up are still in the air as the passwords are in the EC and BIOS, but Gen6 and older are still viable. This one is a lot more complicated to bypass as well as you need to dump the BIOS with a programmer, save it as a .bin dump with HxD (https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/) and then run it through HPUnlocker, then rewrite the UUID, S/N and other data with the HP client tools (don't lock it until you're done - otherwise it needs a reflash to revert) with the HP BCU: https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/... -- and the user manual (READ IT -- THIS IS A CLI TOOL!): https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit...
