HP Pavilion Touch Smart Laptop medel number : 7265NGW has gone dead stop twice when plugged in via extension power cable .What is the reason of being dead stop though the charging cable remain active during switching on the laptop ?

What stops operating when using an extension power cable, the laptop or the laptop's WiFi function?
Reason for asking is you have posted an Intel WiFi card model number and not a HP laptop model number. The laptop model number is on the product information label on the bottom of the laptop.
