MacBook Pro Won't Boot Up But light on

When I push the power button on my macbook pro, the light comes on indicating that it is on and the fans are running. But I don't hear the turning on sound, and there is nothing on the screen. When I plug it in the indicator light is a steady green.

Thank you. Is there anyway that I can do that myself? Is there anyway for me to be able to get my files off of the computer once it's in this state?

Some of the mac books board got SSD soldered to a board. If SSD on your computer is removable it will cause no problem to get your data. If it's soldered, you have to find the motherboard service master that can fix your board or resolder the flash chips to another board.

Hi there,
You can try to connect an external monitor to it.
Just to see if the MacBook boots at all.

Try the following sequence:
Make sure that the MacBook is turned off(no keyboard backlight or LCD backlight present)
Connect the external monitor
Connect the charger
Press the power button
Give the MacBook enough time to start.

If the external monitor starts displaying your background image, you might just need a screen replacement.
The external monitor might turn on and just display a black screen. If that's the case, try to move the cursor around to make it go to the monitor.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, now it won't come on at all. When I plug it in the green light is on the charger for a second, and then it goes black. Could it be the battery at this point?
