Screen not working after battery replacement

Same problem happened to me last saturday, but on a Samsung S20 Ultra. After replacing the battery, everything worked OK. I launched a 4k Video to speed up discharging for battery calibration then after a while, the screen started flicking, went black and would not switch on again. When I held the power button, the phone was vibrating, indicating that it was working, but the screen stayed black. I brought my phone to a repair shop that confirmed that the screen had died. It took him 30 minutes to replace it with a new one for ... 150€. Ouch ! But now the phone works perfectly with a brand new Battery and Screen.

I'm wondering if the reason why Samsung stopped selling batteries alone but bundles them with a new screen is because of this problem ? There's no logical reason why someone who wants to replace a battery would also replace the screen unless replacing the battery would under certain circumstances cause damage to the screen (planned obsolescence ? 🤫).

PS : On the other hand, I replaced an S23 Ultra Battery the same day and everything went ok (except that the battery charges slower than the original one but it's another problem).
