Both the windscreen wipers and the windscreen washers activate automatically and do not respond to the indicator signals. I cannot find any switch to turn them off or stop the water spraying at the front or rear.

Go to p.55-p.56 (57-58 of 304 pdf) to see how to operate the wipers and if your vehicle is equipped with a rain sensor, how to turn it off.
If there is an indicator light turned on in the instrument panel, showing that the rain sensor is faulty. Go to p.22 (24 of 304) to see what the light looks like.
