How to connect keyboard cable in MBP?

Well, I had a little problem with my keyboard a few weeks ago (could not type 'A') so I opened my laptop up according to Reemplazo del teclado del MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo modelos A1226 y A1260 and cleaned the keyboard up (hoping it would solve that problem)... But then I could not figure how to "slide the keyboard ribbon back into the connector" so I'm left with a laptop without a working keyboard... I've tried stuffing it back in but it would only go in about 1mm, not enough to make the connection... any way to connect it back in?

It's a cam - it lifts up (very gently from the insertion end) you insert the ribbon cable then push the cam back down.

Get a magnifying glass, examine the connector. Lift up the black plastic flap holding the ribbon in place (vertical ) slide in the ribbon, press down the flap.
