With the symptoms that you barely describe, I would check the fuel supply as well as the ignition. Common issues could include not enough fuel and to much air or the opposite. To much fuel and not enough air. Definitely check the carburetion first. Make sure that you have clean carbs and an unimpeded fuel supply.
