@bladek45 your J7 Neo uses an AMOLED screen. It does sound like the issue is actually your display. I would start off by replacing that. ifixit does not yet have any specific instructions for this repair. I would use the one from here https://es.ifixit.com/Gu%C3%ADa/Reemplaz... and work carefully since the cables etc. might be in a slightly different location. Replacement displays are readily available at many online places. Always get one with the midframe already installed. It will make the repair a lot easier and faster.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
