I got a replacement L1 button for this but it’s much shorter in depth than the L2 button and doesn’t fit. Any advice? This is the second place I’ve ordered these buttons from and they don’t fit. Thanks!

@mollygarza, the buttons look fine! It’s normal that the L1 and L2 buttons are different! When you compare them in the following guide: Recambio de los botones L1 y R1 del mando DualSense de Sony
Do they look the same? Or is it different? Which version do you have? And can you show both buttons (original L1 and replacement L1)? Thanks!

Unfortunately I don’t have the original L1 button- it must’ve popped off and disappeared. We have 3 boys. 😵💫
I am including a pic of the device info and also the original and replacement R1 buttons for the sake of comparison. You can see they are quite different.

Alright, if they are physically different, then my guess is that you have the wrong buttons. I know that there is a V1 and V2 version (like the PS5 and the PS5 Slim). I know that the difference are really small between them! It could be that the L1/2 and R1/2 buttons are different… this would be my guess. Maybe for the best to buy the V2 buttons as well (if you did bought the V1 ones)

Thanks! The short one is the replacement L1 and the tall one is the original L2.
