The Mouse click is sort of stuck?

Hey, So i've actually been looking around and I haven't really found a great answer to my question. The trackpad mouse click (left and right clicks) seems to be broken i guess. I can push it and it'll get stuck either down to the left or down to the right. I feel like I could be able to just fix it because if I really apply pressure the button still works. However, my question is whether or not the mouse can be taken out of the macbook or if it's all connected to the bottom? Sorry i'm not sure if my question is clear? Or does anyone have any idea on how i would go about fixing it?
