ZTE Z233VL flip phone's screen won't light up or work

@ajaxbeach without seeing what your phone shows you, but going by your description, this "it's tinted blue/green and elements are all over the place." sounds like a bad display. Here is the bad news. I have not found a single LCD for this phone. I have found lots of phones for sale that are relatively inexpensive. You may have to get one of those as a donor phone and then harvest the screen from that. The other issue is that there are no repair guides for this. The only lead I found is this video You will have to slow it down considerably to make it instructional. This repair will be a challenge.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
