I erased my iPhone, but I can't get passed the "hello" screen.

I dropped my phone earlier today, and after that the top half of the screen was unresponsive. I kept trying to tap on things on the top half of the screen, for example, my passcode but I was unable to, which resulted in me having to erase my iphone. When it powered back on, I tried using the power off trick to bypass the hello screen, since my home button was also broken. But since the button I needed to swipe to power the phone off was at the top of the screen, I am unable to power off my phone. Any advice is appreciated!
