Machine drains completely but has 0E error.

LG ACQ30084921 Mdl: T1188NEHTAC.ABWEECD Smart Inverter washing machine works normally until it finishes completely draining and starts to spin to extract wash water from the load. With absolutely no water in the machine it falts out with the 0E error code.

0E error code, the pump empties the machine and the discharge hose is placed at ground level ensuring that no water is in the machine. Every time the washer starts to spin it stops abruptly and the pump starts again with no water in the machine. After about 5 attempts to spin the machine falts out with 0E.

Has anyone encountered this problem and if so what was done to solve it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @dag79695,

Please confirm the make and model number of the washer.

The only "close" result when searching online for information about the model you posted is this and they're all for cover assemblies or refrigerators and not for the washing machine itself.

Otherwise all other results say "did not match any documents".

Do you have the user manual still? If so what does it say in there about the model number?

What country are you in?

Hello, @jayeff,

Thanks for looking, the P/N - Model are from a tag on the back of the machine and re-verified from a photo.

I do maintenance (industrial, comercial and residencial) for a living.

Tomorrow I will be going with a friend to pick up this machine and bring it home to work on. Hopefully there is a service packet with something helpful inside. I am not sure if the water level sensor is sending a false signal or there is a problem with the controller. Also, water in the tub would cause a resistance to spin which could be detected by the drive (not sure if any washers are programed for that), however, I had a similar problem with another washer doing the same thing but without any fault codes and it was a problem with resistance in the transmission.

I live in Costa Rica and the model is probably Latin America specific as the machine is labeled in Spanish. I did find a fair match on a user manual for this one and it just gives the normal kinked hose/pump filter cloged solution.

Thanks again amigo.
