Battery capacity is not fully recognized

Hi there,

I got a new replacement battery for my MacBook Pro from ifixit. However, my MacBook Pro would not recognize the full capacity of the battery. It is 2903/8600mAh.

Any help is much appreciated.

It looks like your battery is extremely degraded. Judging from the manufacture date of the battery it is a replacement. Where did you get this battery from?

It is a new battery. I got from iFixit.

I have tried everything there was, I think: reset the SMC, reinstalled the OS. I am not sure what else I could do.

It looks like your battery is extremely degraded. Judging from the manufacture date of the battery it is a replacement. Where did you get this battery from? — Duck
