Hi @trev1991,

What is the make and model number of the speaker?

Fenton Audio FT215LED

Fuse is a pcb mount glass fuse, but has no identification of fuse rating.

Can't find the service manual.

Maybe try contacting the manufacturer and ask them. Worth a shot if there's no better response.

You may need the service manual or the schematic also, given that fuses generally blow for a reason.

@trev1991, just to add to @jayeff's response, my general rule of thumb for the last few decades has been to replace the fuse once, and if it blows again then go looking for the cause. Fuses, just like anything else, can fail on their own, so yeah, replace it but get a couple just in case.

Fuses can fail but it rarely happens.

Mostly if they do it is due to faulty connections in the fuse itself i.e. dry joints or loose crimps or if they're actually the wrong fuse for the purpose and have been working at the top end of their rating for a long time This tends to weaken the fuse wire until it breaks, leaving a small gap in the fuse wire.

It's different however if you can see that they've blown i.e. no fuse wire left visible in the fuse. That is due to excessive current and there's always a reason for that, even if the reason is intermittent, it'll come back to bite you at some time later on.
