Replaced the port twice now. If the 11 Pro Max is on speakerphone and they are talking, if the other person begins talking at all they will cease being able to hear them until they stop talking. Have yet to find a solution to this issue.

If you have tried two different charging ports I would next try updating the phone to rule out software. If it doesn’t fix the problem the next step would be to install the logic board into another known good housing if the problem is still there it will be a board issue if the problem is solved it will be a parts issue which would point to the charging port assembly.

There is no solution because this is not related to the phone itself, it's likely how the carrier's echo suppression is implemented.

Tested on Verizon and AT&T. Same issue. Tested with another 11 Pro Max using the same SIM and no issues.

Hi Tyler,
By 'port', you're referring the the lightning port assembly containing the lower microphone, right?
The 11 Pro Max has three microphones total; one at the bottom on the lightning port flex cable, one on the rear below the right hand camera, and one in the same slot used by the earpiece speaker.
The documentation I saw says that earpiece microphone is used for Siri; I wonder if it's also used for speakerphone calls. If that's the case and the problem, then replacing the lightning port microphone wouldn't help.
Just a thought; no idea if it's worth anything or not.
P.S., another article mentions that multiple microphones may be in use simultaneously for audio pickup *and noise cancellation*. Maybe that's a clue?

Siri works fine on the phone.
