@febbyyy Just confirming the process you took.
On a separate computer, you installed Google Chrome, then installed the Chromebook Recovery Utility.
You inserted a blank USB Flash drive with at least 8GB of space into the computer.
You clicked the puzzle piece labeled extensions and selected Chromebook Recovery Utility.
You clicked "Select the model from a list", then put the correct manufacturer and model number in, and clicked "Comtinue".
You selected your USB drive from the drop-down menu, then selected Continue>Start Now, and waited for the USB drive to be flashed.
Did you get this far?

What kind of storage does this device use (SSD, HDD)? My thought process here is that either the device that the recovery is being downloaded to has corrupted storage, or the device you are trying to recover has a corrupted drive. If neither of those are the case, I would recommend re-downloading to make sure it wasn't just a corrupted file.

@febbyyy, it appears you'll need to use a different computer to create the recovery media. Do you have access to another computer to do that?
If you haven't seen it already (and it sounds like you have), here's a link to the recovery instructions for chromebooks.
