What kind of DVDRW drive can I install as a replacement for a bad drive in my Acer Aspire 5100?

THIS link will enable you to remove the drive (surprised iFixit don't have a guide for this)
A quick Google found THIS DRIVE No doubt there are other suppliers.

just go with an external hard drive. might be handy in a future.
