Completly dead iPhone 4

Hi i have an iphone 4 which is completly dead. I have tried the logic board in a different body and still the same. So in other word the logic board wont boot up. Does anyone know if this could be resolved by changing the powermanagement ic ?. Hope to hear from you. Thanks again.

Not recognised by iTunes dead or no lights/chimes dead. Maybe it's in dfu mode which gives black screen/dead appearance

The only way to say if changing the power management IC will work is if you can tell us for sure that this is the part that failed. There are many ICs on the logic board as well as many small and rather sensitive paths; this leaves the odds of there being damage else where very high.

In addition, replacing ICs is no small task and will require something a little more refined than a soldering iron.

So if you know for sure that "power management" IC is your culprit, you know that there is no damage any where else, and you have the correct tooling, rock on! Otherwise my bet would be that replacing this one IC would not work.
